Preparation
A few pictures of the food and camping gear I took.

Looking at the pictures you will see that I had lots of food. I did not eat all the food contained in the pictures. I don't think I ate much Top-Ramen, not sure if I even had any at all.

I took a cheap pack that I purchased at Costco a year or two before. Even though the pack was cheap, it was better than what I had as a teenager. Part way through the hike I remember the pack started to come undone where there internal frame bar goes into the bottom part of the pack (maybe that was a different hike, who knows).

The best preparation I had was reading the book pictured and reading on the web. I was able to learn quite a lot about what I was getting myself into.

My original plan was to hike the Wonderland Trail over an entire month (yes, thirty whole days in the park). I wanted to hike the loop and take several side / day hikes. Unfortunatly there is a 14 night limit, so I had to change my plans to hike the loop in 14 days.

I chose to hike the trail clockwise, though I don't remember exactly why. If / when I hike it again, I will probably hike counter clockwise just to have different scenery.
